I understand where Pete Rock is coming from. That song was sensitive to him. A tribute to his deceased cousin.

But its not like Lupe raped it and turned it to a club song.

Pete as a legend, a veteran, should have handled the situation a bit better. Instead of bitching on twitter. 

I’m not mad at Lupe. This is the Lupe thats my favorite rapper. Not that LASERS bullshit.
